Privacy Issues: Call Blocking
Protect your privacy when the need arises.
The privacy rights of both callers and people called are equally important. There are times when callers do not wish to reveal their identities, just as there are occasions when the people they call do not wish to be disturbed or would like to know who is calling before they answer the telephone. NorthernTel offers a number of privacy safeguards, intended to give callers the choice of either transmitting and displaying their name and number information or preventing it from being transmitted to the people they call.
Per Call Blocking is on most customer lines and is free of charge.

- The person you are calling will see a display such as “Private Name/Private Number”.
